A Systematic View In Taoist Philosophy

The Five Elements is a systematic view in Taoist philosophy! The ancients divided all things in the universe into five types of properties, namely wood, fire, earth, metal, and water, and referred to them as the "Five Elements." The earliest Taoist theory of the Five Elements was created to describe the forms of movement and transformation relationships of things. Later generations further developed the theory of mutual generation and mutual restraint of the Five Elements, known as the "Five Elements Generating and Overcoming" law.
